Currently at this stage, some service providers only allow the default browser of the Blackberry Storm to be used with BIS, the Vodafone Live and other browsers such as UC, Skyfire etc are not allowed. If they are used, then the airtime on the device is used. If you do get the Opera Mini browser for Storm device, then make sure that your APN settings are not enabled, this will lessen the chance of your airtime being used.

To make user that your TCP/IP is disabled then go to options, advanced options, then scroll down to the bottom and lick on TCP/IP. After that, make sure that the “APN Settings Enabled” doesn’t have a tick next to it. If that has no tick then the last box also won’t have a tick.

My colleague Edward Umana previously reviewed the Google Maps app for the Blackberry Storm which at that time had many bugs but was fast enough to stop anyone from complaining.  The application was improved but there were still users that complained about it not being clear when zoomed.

With every app, theres always the good and the bad, the good of this app is that streetview is supported for the Blackberry Curve devices but the Blackberry Storm devices lack it for an unknown reason. The chart above does show that Blackberries do support streetview.

The Android users are lucky to have 3D maps but if you also have a Symbian device, then update to the 3D Maps that Ovi released. Quite fun to mess around with it.

Google Maps isn’t present in the App world but you can download it directly from them at their website.

If you try to set the map to terrain view and then zoom in to the desired location, the result will be unclear. To resolve this problem then go to menu and press clear map. The map will then only show road and its names. Then zoom to the desired level and location, then only press terrain view which is located on the menu.

For the Verizon users, the service provider may block the Google Maps application because they want the users to use the maps plan that they offer, the Google Maps directions is completely free.

We talked about many themes from elecite and I have to say that we covered all their recent released themes but we also reviewed some themes from the past. What I want to say is that this theme will be reviewed by comparing it to the other themes only made by elecite because if I compare it with the other themes from the market, I’d have a totally different thought.

This theme is notthat special. I don’t say that it’s very ugly but you still have to pay $7 for it and I have to say that it’s not that worth it as the other themes by elecite. It’s not worth it because it doesn’t stand out of the crowd (of themes) as almost all themes by elecite do.

Compared with the other themes from the market, this theme looks good enough, I like the icons from the home screen and the icons from the menu but that’s everything I can like at this theme. It seems like the elecite developers didn’t struggle that much on this theme but if you really want to buy a good theme, you have plenty to choose from their website.

At first, I want to mention that SpyBuble is destinated to employers and parrents but there might be other people using this app too. As they mentioned on their website, this app is available for BlackBerry and other smartphones too so even if you don’t have a BlackBerry, you can still read this article.

The conclusion is that you need the best app for that. I’m telling you that because it happened to me too.

This time we talk about a translator app which is called the Navita Translator and there is no doubt that this is the best free translator app. There might not be even a paid app better than this one because I just saw it in the top free apps and it was ranked the second.

Some of the features of this app is that you can post your translations to twitter, facebook and other social media websites. It also has the dictionary function or better said, it will have the dictionary function because at the moment it is disabled, probably because this app is very new (it was released the day before yesterday so they probably have to improve it or even develop it.

I’m happy I found this game because in the past time, there are a lot of boring games in the app world while this one seems to be very addictive and totally worth it. I know this is not that new, it was released one the 5th October but I never saw it until now.

Stupid people would enter the link of this app and be confused wondering why such a bad looking game would have such a big rating score and while it also costs some money.

Yes, I know that in the screenshots of this game you only see some yellow bulbs and a black background and that’s basically all of it but that doesn’t mean this game is not worth it. To play this game, you’ll have to use your brain a little more than you do with the other games.

Yes, it seems to be that kind of addictive game which is enjoyed only by smart people who love smart games like this one. Still, I saw some comments saying that this is not that kind of game but it is still an addictive and worth it one.

I know that some people might say that Sims is for girls but I personally really like the game. No, I’m not playing it because I know it’s a waste of time but that doesn’t mean that the idea is not unique and also a very catchy and good game.

What I said until now in this article, was referred to all Sims games because I know that this game migrated to many platforms, including mobile phone platforms and again, including the BlackBerry OS platform which is a good thing for EA (the developers) and for fans too.

To present the game in a few words, it is basically a virtual life game. You might have played other games like that too but I’m telling you, there is no other game better than this one when you talk about virtual life. The graphics and the gameplay are awesome.

Normally, this game would be played in-door and around your house but this game is called “world adventures” so it is exactly the opposite of the other games.

The overall rating score is 3.5/5 stars which is quite a good one but there are only 8 reviews.

This is the best theme elecite released in the past time and I don’t think that anyone would deny that. This is that kind of theme from elecite which looks very unique and at the same time very attractive and worth.

Unfortunately, there is only one buyer or at least one buyer reviewed and rated it 4/5 stars. He said something very important which I agree with. He said that this theme is a little too hard to be used during the night because it’s too bright and he asked for a night mode for this theme but honestly, I don’t think he’ll get that because elecite needs to design a totally new theme.

Besides that, as the same reviewer said, this theme is for those people who don’t really care about phone backgrounds and I agree with that too. Honestly, with this theme you don’t even need a background even if you’d normally use one because it is very cool the way it is at the moment when you buy it and with wallpaper, the design of this theme would be totally broken.

When someone talks about a feed reader, I’m instantly thinking at Google reader. Actually, if you ask me, I don’t know any other feed reader to tell you but I know that Google has the most popular and the best feed reader ever. I’m talking about the PC Web version but there is also a cool online version for phones.

Reading the feed reader from this app is much different from reading it on the web because with this app, you can even do that even when you’re not in a Wi-Fi area and not having any other internet source. This app saves your last feeds so that you can read them later.

The app can also synchronize with your Google reader in the background which is another great feature because it will save your time and it will also avoid not to read the feed when you don’t have internet access because it might happen to forget to update it.

It even has a nice interface which is kind of a must have for this kind of apps because you spend a lot of time in these apps and your eyes need to be entertained.
