BlackBerry Strom app review: UrbanSpoon
Whenever you plan to go out for lunch or dinner with friends and family, there is always arguments about where to go and what to order. Right? I was very tired with this. At the end of each argument, nothing was settled and we always used to end up at the same regular restaurant and the same old pizza or burger. So I thought why not check on the internet if I can find any solution for this. Then I came across this app for the BlackBerry. Its called UrbanSpoon.
This is a fun to use app. Its kind of feels like a game, but is not. You get a wheel like thing on your screen. You just have to hit the SPIN button to spin the wheel. The wheel will have the names of all the restaurants near to your current location. So it randomly selects a restaurant for you so that you can stop arguing and go directly over to the selected restaurant and have food.
To make this more fun, the app allows you to shake your phone. Puzzled?? I mean instead of hitting the SPIN button, you can just shake your phone and the wheel starts spinning. It uses your phone’s built in GPS system to detect your current location and accordingly displays the restaurants. Once you are done with the selection, you can also know about the cuisines and prices available in the restaurant you have selected.
