Storm & Storm 2, no Blackberry OS 6.0 for you both

Blackberry Storm and Storm 2 owners have one more thing to be sad of apart from the latest buzz about the ban on Blackberry services in some countries. And the bad news is, the phones can not be upgraded to the latest OS 6.0. This is because both these phones, apparently, wont work properly with the OS 6.0 due to their SurePress screens. Storm 2, which is not even an year old, still cant have the latest OS working on it.

The much hyped and waited for OS 6.0, will definitely like the dreams of its proud owners. But Storm and Storm 2 owner will either have to buy the latest Blackberry phones with OS 6.0 pre-installed, or will have to work their way out a few more months or perhaps years with their Storms.

I agree…I am DONE with RIM. Their phones are FUGly, and they screw their users over time and time again….the TORCH? Are you kidding me?? after all that hype, thhis piece of $h1t phone looks like garbage. ANd the storm/storm 2 is just junk. I’m on my 4th storm 2 (luckily i have insurance)…I am just waiting for the holidays to see what android phones come out, or else its the iphone…RIM just doesn’t get it…I’m completely fed up.

Okay, I would not like to comment on that. But if you are looking out for an Android phone, here are my suggestions.

    samsungepic4g.net
    acer-liquid.net
    samsung-vibrant.net
    samsungcaptivate.net

You can also wait for Samsung’s new OS, Bada and its phone based on Bada, Samsung Wave.

    badadownloads.com

You can consider all these options before you decide and settle with one phone.

I am no going to leave Verizon. As much as I hate their pricing (too high), their coverage is the best, and I won’t scrafice that. Thus, I’ll have to limit myself to phones on Verizon. That being said, the rumors of the Blackberry Triton are very interesting. Sounds like an android device in BB clothing. If the Triton does release on Verizon and does have the specs that have been circulating, I might stick around and give BB another chance…because these specs look amazing. Let’s see what happens in December..

Stop buying from RIM they’ll just screw you over and over again.

Will NEVER buy another BlackBerry….first yu roll out the Storm 2 yu help fix all the god awful mess of the original Storm……but continuing p make those people who spent $400 on the original, and to my dismay I bought FOUR for all of my family, just “deal with it” for the next year to two years of their contract? Customer focus I think not. I have had seven REFURBISHED original Storms because they ALL have the same problem. BlackBerry, if you keep this strategy you are guaranteeing the downfall of yourselves and your shitty customer service.
