Blackberry Storm Questions & Answers

Some Blackberry Storm phone related problems may sound but there are still some people who don’t know the solution so that’s why I put them in this post.

1) Q: Now I’m using a BlackBerry Storm 1 9500 from Globe Telecom and I asked them if they will also be promoting or marketing the Storm 2 and they said they won’t do that. Can I safely use a BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 on the same network?

A: The answer is yes, if you heard something that it will work properly only in Europe or something like that, well it’s wrong. It has been tested and it works perfectly.

2) Q: How can I type international characters in e-mails and / or text messages?
A: You have to hover over the character you want to choose an alternate character from and hold it couple of seconds and the alternate characters should appear.

3) Q: Suddenly, the only things I can hear from my Storm is voicemail and when I call somebody; what should I do?
A: You should remove your battery, wait about 30 seconds and then turn on your Storm.

4) Q: How can I reset my Storm 9530 so that I can wipe all information on it?
A: Go to Options > Security options > General settings > click the menu key > Wipe Handled.
