Blackberry Storm3: Possible Touchscreen With Pull-Out Keyboard?
The Blackberry Storm2 improved the screen ”clicking” a thousand times over the old Storm, now, with the Storm2, it is much easier to press the screen and type without having any problems. However, touchscreen phones are not for everyone. Typing in a Storm2 is arguably more difficult than typing in lets say, a Bold or a Curve. Many people just find the keyboard on the Storm too difficult, unreliable, inaccurate and tedious to use.
But apparently, RIM has the solution! In the very interesting sketch above, a new design for a possible touchscreen device with a pull-out QWERTY keyboard has been revealed. We say ”possible” touchscreen because the design has a trackball, meaning that probably is not a touchscreen device after all.
The new design from RIM is probably many years away, probably, it won’t even be released. But dreaming about a Blackberry Storm3 with a pull-out keyboard is cool, isn’t it?

I personally prefer not to have a pull out keyboard. it makes the device thicker and I don’t like that. I would probably avoid a storm 3 if they did that. I have the original storm with the OS 5 update and I have no trouble typing on the virtual keyboard at all. Let’s hope they don’t mess up the touch screen with a pull out keyboard.

had my hopes up for the new blackberry storm 3 , but wen i saw da thickness i was turned off. thick phones are heavy to handle. im a fan of blackberry but really if the design is great another thing goes wrong bout the phone , just like the storm 3.
