Storm 2 Free Apps: Google Maps Updated!

The previous version of Google Maps worked quite well on the Blackberry Storm with OS5.0, however, it was not that smooth as in the original Storm. Very luckily,  Google is super fast in updating all their applications to work nicely with just released devices.  The Storm2 is not an exception! Google Maps has been slightly modified so it works better with the OS5.0 of the Blackberry Storm2.

I know the  Storm2 has Blackberry Maps, and the Verizon Storm2 has VZW Navigator, but, Google Maps is just awesome. Google Maps is really fast, and the most useful thing is that it always has a result for any crazy thing one could look for. Sometimes alternatives, don’t have all the addresses. But by far, my favorite feature of Google Maps is how it locates you immediately over the map without a GPS lock, then provides local results and you can call directly a business by pressing the green button, is really useful. To get Google Maps for your Storm2 just head to google, make sure its the mobile version, then click on ”more” and then select ”Maps” just follow the installation process and you are done!
