Storm Update: OS 5.0.0.140 For The Blackberry Storm Leaked, Ready To Download
After the completely amazing leak of the Blackberry Messenger 5.0, the Blackberry OS 5.0 for the Blackberry Storm was leaked by a chinese website. The new Blackberry OS 5.0 is still unofficial, meaning that RIM has not launched this, meaning that if something goes wrong is not their fault.
To install the new OS 5.0 the only thing you need is to download it from here: OS 5.0 and then install it. Remember you will need the Desktop Manager to install the new leaked 5.0 BB OS in your Blackberry Storm.
Please do this only if you now well what you are doing, the leaked version is not official nor supported, backup all your important data before starting the process. Happy upgrading!

I downloaded the file. When I tried to extract the RAR file, it is asking for password. I am unable to extract and apply the software to my machine.

I installed the system into my phone. I did see some small changes but nothing major caught my eyes till now. They have a bug report for everything which frequently sends email to the development team of RIM. Will keep checking.
