New Blackberry Software Firmware Update for Verizon Blackberry Storm OS 4.7.0.141 Leaks
Note that this software or new firmware for the Blackberry Storm is NOT official, it is a leak and it is supposed to work 100% on your BlackBerry Storm, it is free to download and install but do it at your own risk, The Storm Blog does not take any responsability if anything goes wrong.
The Verizon Blackberry Storm received its last update almost in early December of the last year, and we all know that the current software that the Blackberry Storm from Verizon runs is pretty buggy for some people, the good news is that it can be fixed by installing a new update, the bad of course, is that Verizon has not released any updates, at least officially. I say ”Officially” because today the new OS 4.7.0.141 for the Verizon Blackberry Storm leaked and is ready to download and install on your Blackberry Storm!
With this new software update for the Verizon Blackberry Storm everything is supposed to fix, with new firmwares comes more stability and sometimes more features, theoretically, by installing this update your Blackberry Storm should run smoother and crash less. Working fine for me thus far; although color banding issue on custom themes still exists. Anyone else have any feedback or how to fix color depth/banding issue? Cheers!

Does installing these firmware updates require the Blackberry to be totally re-configured? My Blackberry is an enterprise Blackberry specifically setup to use my company email… will that have to be re-done if I do this?

new update works pretty well… phone is more responsive now, and great feature such as full qwerty on portrait option and texts selection feature are just couple of em’. we are on BES and after i run the update, i run the enterprise activation and got all my data back. all is well.

WOW, this is such a huge improvement. My storm is so much faster. The interface is now quick and snappy… response time is way better. Can’t believe how much this update helped! I love my storm now

Its supposed to be coming out within the next 2 weeks according to the salesman when I got my phone 4 days ago.

hey there is an update available for those of you who dont know. ?I didnt know but yesterday I checked in my advance options if there was something and there was the 4.7.148 version available for wireless download on your storm. so far its its more stable than the previous version
