Slacker just released the official Storm version of the Slacker app, Slacker is a free internet radio that lets you listen to thousands of free songs online. For example lets say that you want to listen to ”Daft Punk”, you type Daft Punk on the application and then Slacker will search for songs from Daft Punk and other similar artists for you to hear, then you create a station and can save it to your Storm to listen later.
If you already have Slacker installed on your Storm you got the Java version which is NOT designed for the Storm but it worked well anyway, to install the latest release of Slacker which brings improvements and bug fixes you should uninstall the old Slacker version and then install the new one.
This application is very popular and is the favourite among many Blackberry Storm users. And now that Slacker released the official version for the Storm all is supposed to work perfeclty, if you want to download go to www.slacker.com using your Blackberry Storm web browser.

Maybe set the application permissions all to ”allow”
i had the same problem login in, but you need to go to the main web site and sign in, then you sign in with your mobile.
Booo, only avaiable for US downloads… lame.

I keep having the issue where it will play music from my ear speaker instead of the loud speaker ob

just found out about a new radio streaming app after joining a facebook group called iheartradio.. streams stations from all over the country to your blackberry cause slacker wasn’t workign well with my storm. definitely check it out, two thumbs up!!
