500 server error again
I tried the link for Weather Bug but the server blocked the download. Is there another way to get the application. I have been able just to Google severs others and it has worked. Thanks!
The link is here http://weather.weatherbug.com/mobile/blackberrystorm.html
try this
http://blackberry.weatherbug.com/storm/storm.jad
Same 500 server error for me too as with the past couple links.
Actually that last link worked! Thanks!
Yes the “.jad” is a good link for the direct download. The other users with the “500″ errorr were probably getting it due to going to “.com” rather than the specified “.html” (took me three times to figure that out myself!) Don’t even bother trying to to that page though… it doesn’t display properly anyway so you can’t get to the link there. Thanks for the direct link, erplito!
is there anyway to get it emailed to your blackberry then get it downloaded on to your phone via email? or do i have to sync my phone up to my computer?
@Johhnybgood –
Click this link from your phones browser and just download it…
http://blackberry.weatherbug.com/storm/storm.jad
But the question is is it free or are you charge monthly for it?
hi! i don’t know how to put the applications on my storm via computer. because it is required a pin code that i don’t know and how can i resolve it?
thanks a lot
excuse me, i was also thinking that it is possible to download the applications directly with the storm?
Download directly to the storm by just clicking the download link with your Storm’s browser. Much easier
yes you can, it is called OTA and is much easier. (over the air)
Does this work in the UK?
Keeps telling me ‘Error no response from web server’ and ‘Content encoing Error’
Help?
Oh it’s working now… Kinda!
It should work, set the application permissions all to allow
The application isn’t picking up my current location upon run…it just says “Locating”. I enabled GPS Services on the device and set Application Security to Allow for Connections/Interactions…any help?
Thx
Better go with your ZIP code, is much easier
i d/l the wb, and was put into my app folder. when i click it, the phone freezes.
what the?
mine works perfectly i used
http://blackberry.weatherbug.com/storm/storm.jad try it i dowloaded on march 2nd at 12 41pm
so, I downloaded it with my storm, but I was wondering how do I get it to have the live weather icon (clouds, sun, etc, instead of the default weatherbug icon)?
It should work by default, you sure you set up your location?
yep. maybe I need to turn it off and turn it back on again?
I deleted blackberry maps , and I can’t seem to get it back onto my storm .blackberry.com says it does not support it???
I keep downloading the http://blackberry.weatherbug.com/storm/storm.jad to my blackberry and everytime I do it asks if I want it to use my GPS location. When I try to press the YES option it does NOTHING! I’m not sure what to do. the download from BB APP World is also not connection with GPS. I am soo frustrated because it WAS working fine not too long ago. =( HELP!
