How to: Get screenshots from your Storm.
Here is a little application that gets screenshots from your Blackberry Storm. It is called CaptureIT and is fully compatible with the Storm. Once that CaptureIT is installed on your Storm, there will always be on most menus an option called ”CaptureIT”. To get the screenshot of something on the screen you press the menu key and the ”CaptureIT” then the Storm will vibrate to confirm that the screenshot was taken. To view the screenshot just go to the galler and you will find it there. To download CaptureIT just click over this link using your Blackberry Storm. Don’t use your PC becasue its an OTA (Over The Air) application, that means that downloading and installing is only possible if you do it with your Storm. CaptureIT

Ok, for those who cant download the file just do this:
Using your Storm point the browser to this page. Then click over the link where says ”Download CaptureIt” at the end of the article and follow installation process.
I just did it and worked!

I had this program working great, then I downloaded the BB Leather theme, now when I use it all I get is a picture of my screen with the icons on it…. I have removed it and redownloaded it and am still getting only screen shots….
Is there something I am missing…..as I have set all the permissions to Allow.
Have turned phone off and on twice…..still only gives me a picture of my screen on my Storm.
Help please!

P.S…..the Capture It icon won’t even light up when I tap it. If I push the icon I get a picture of my screen…..can’t figure this one out L0L

Where is the “galler” (I assume you mean “gallery”)
I downloaded the app and it vibrated when I selected “Capture it”, but I can’t find the image. thx

Works great when the menu button brings up a regular menu, but apps like Weatherbug bring up their own custom menu so the app doesn’t work there. Is there some other key-stroke combination that will capture a screen rather than use the menu button.

PS, I am on a BB Storm and the app works great and does make the machine vibrate in your hand when it does a screen capture.

My bb storm takes the picture but when I look in my picture folder its just a blank white screen! Why is this?
