I was having a problem with my Blackberry Storm, while on a call I always pressed with my cheek something on the Storm’s screen, I ended in the web browser, messaging, calendar etc… Since the Storm does not have a proximity sensor to know when the user is speaking, the screen does not lock and we always end up pressing something we don’t mean to that takes us to other apps that waste our time.
But this problem is solved! A company called CellAvant developed an application called TalkLock. TalkLock does exactly what its name says, it locks the screen while you talk so you don’t end in other apps. I tried it myself and worked pretty well, and luckly for us, CellAvant decided that TalkLock is going to be a completely free application!! So you can go ahead and download it by clicking the link above, remember this is an OTA (Over The Air) installation and you have to use your Storm to click over the link below, don’t use your PC because it won’t recogize the file. i do love this app. just wondered if anyone else has the problem that it only last a little while before the app. shuts off and ur buttons come back up? cause really this phone with the mute button rite there is a huge problem. my friends iphone goes to a black screen when he is on the phone. anyways thats luv this site and this app

I was really excited about this app when I saw it because the mute button is a problem for me and also the speaker button. The app starts out great and then disappears after a few minutes. I see you guys are having this same experience. Does anyone know how to get it to work throughout an entire phone call?? If so, please help.. Thanks

How do you uninstall this?
Go options>AdvancedSettings>Applications. Highlight the app and press BB Menu button then delete. Restart the Phone.

You can’t this are OTA applications, but they are WAY easier than PC installations. Why would you want to install with PC?

In order to delete the VM message, I have to get to the keypad, but if the screen is locked, how do you get that keyboard to come back up?

I downloaded this but did not give it the permission to access my phone or whatever. Now when I download it, it shows up in applications but does not work. Any idea how to make it work?

I have bought this software but when I try to install it in my Blackberry storm it says that the system does not recognize a .jad extension … can some one help me here ?
