Game: Chess totally Compatible and Free for your Storm!
It has been very difficult to find games that actually work on the Storm, since the Storm is first of its kind it does not have much software available. But the good news is that I found a really nice game that works 100% with the Storm’s touch screen and best of all its completely FREE!
The game is chess, I love chess because I never get tired of playing it. With chess you always have to think and try to win the computer! So far I always got beaten by the Storm.

Anyway apart from this new game, we are inaugurating our Forum! You will find that everything is totally new! This forum is here to help you, and also to share (so others get helped, its like a chain) So if you have a cool app you have being using just post it here so others can have it too! its not worth it..because u cant start a new game and computer cheats…a pawn cant move backwards diagnally to kill..somebody develop a new chess game..will somebody allow Flash on their phone system..damn

To download the game you either need to use the desktop manager for blackberry or download it from your phone. To the person who mentioned that pawns can’t kill backwards diagonally : that wasn’t a pawn. That was a bishop. Although the pieces look almost identical they’re not. The app needs a lot of improvement but how much can you really expect from something that’s free?

1. New game? Intentionally lose, press Black Wins, press New Game
2. To download go to website on the storm

Go to settings>advanced settings> and applications. Find chess and deactivate the ”Compatibility mode”

The AI on this chess game is challenging, however its annoying to not be able to start a new game mid-game (you have to play to the end, and then wait for the menu to come up)
There are MAJOR issues, and I suggest not dowloading: Flipping from vertical to horizontal view can crash the game. Freezes frequently during play.
I’m not 100% sure, but relatively certain that the game, just having it run, and not actively playing, is screwing up my blackberry, causing it to slow down and freeze more often.

After seeing so much critics from all the people,that the game is far away from good or even perfect,I decided not to download that game. A game is not a game if it can’t restart the game.Even it is free,it needs a right game play just like how a pawn kills.Far far away from the word perfect, or even good.Anyone who wants to get this game,you will need to think twice,or even trice.
