Storm Causes Riots at Verizon Stores.
Generally when a hot product is hitting the market, a lot of people camp and show REALLY early to the store in which the product would be sold, and the Storm is not an exception.
Today 21 of November the Storm was launched at Verizon Stores, what happened?? Well first of all, a major error of Verizon and BlackBerrry. They managed to get the hype and fans, but they did not supply each Verizon store with enough units to satisfy the big demand they generated. Isn’t that silly? They spent millions on ads and hype-building, but then they don’t supply the demand they created!? And everybody knows that leads to angry and frustrated customers. According to Reuters, the Storms were all gone after just 2 HOURS!! When the people that were really close to get the Storm were informed they would have to wait till December 5, they enraged, then Verizon had to call the police to control the angry people. And I don’t blame the people, waiting for so long, then being so close to get it, but then Verizon says ”Sorry, we will have more in December 5th”
So here we are, waiting till December 5, did you get your Storm?

I had gone to over 12 stores and finally landed on a verizon store with 300 Blackberry storm in stock. Bad News, They took names and number. I was on Page 6. We all had to wait outside in 27 degree weather and be paitent. From talking to some of the earlier arrivals, One gentleman waited from 1AM to find out 10 hours later, he wasn’t approved. That sucks!!!! With me, I left to take a nap cause they said I am not gonna grab one tonight. F**k that.. I came back at 8PM and waited like a poor guy that I am and got one. ONE of the 299th. Sorry to all who didn’t.

Well, the point is that you got yours. I consider you lucky, others will have to wait till december 15th!!
And as I said, I can’t understand why Verizon creates such a hype, and then they don’t supply the demand they generated!! Really dumb and frustrating for the customer!
