Skyfire Coming For The Blackberry Storm: Browse The Full Web! Even YouTube Videos and More!

Those of you Storm users that also use a Symbian or Windows Mobile device, probably miss the awesome Skyfire web browser for your Blackberry Storm. (By the way, if you have a Symbian or WinMo device go to get.skyfire.com to try it out if  you havent already) But there are good news! Skyfire is coming for Blackberry devices very soon!

And what is Skyfire? Skyfire  is my favorite application for my Nokia devices, with Skyfire I can browse the full web on my device. For example, when you go to the desktop version of YouTube.com with your Blackberry Storm, you can’t watch any video, but with Skyfire this changes! You can now watch any video, every content, music, picture on the web with your Blackberry Storm, that you can’t see with the native BB Browser. Unfortunately, Skyfire is still in Alpha for Blackberry, meaning that there is no public version available at the moment. However, Skyfire officially announced that their web browser would be available for Blackberry devices later this year. We will let you know when it goes out!

Free Storm Themes: Vitreous Free Blackberry Storm Theme! Download Here

Anyway, a new free Blackberry Storm theme was just released by eVeek, it is called Vitreous and it looks really cool on the Storm. The theme is totally custom, with new icons etc… My favorite feature is the main screen where you can have eight icons on the left and right side of the screen.

A must have free application for the Blackberry Storm is FlyCast, FlyCast was previously supported on the Blackberry Storm but in compatibility mode and did not work that well really. FlyCast is now available as a free application for the Blackberry Storm, and completely compatible with it! For example, it now supports landscape and portrait modes, the stability was improved, radio stations now can work perfectly even if not EV-DO or 3G is available.

The new FlyCast for the Blackberry Storm really rocks, has lots of improvements and is a very useful app. For thosw that don’t know what FlyuCast is, you guys are missing a great app. With FlyCast you can listen to many radio stations, in fact 1200 different channels with music, news and sports. Manga For Storm: Download Mango and Get Manga on Your Blackberry Storm!

For those Manga lovers and readers, there are great news! You now can get your Manga comics on your Blackberry Storm and read them easily right on your Storm! There is a really nice app created specially for the Blackberry Storm, it lets you read comics from OneManga, which are totally free, on your Blackberry Storm. Of course OneManga is accessible from the Storm over the web browser or Opera Mini, but this app is specially made to read this comics on the Storm witthout the problems that the browser has, loading slowly and low responsiveness for example.

Premium Storm Themes: Linux Mint | First Premium Storm Theme from Maxx

Remember Maxx from the Float and Elegance Blackberry Storm themes? If you ever used a theme from this guy you probably know that they are really complete and well made, I have really enjoyed Maxx’s Storm Themes. Well now he took it a step further and he created his first Premium theme for the Blackberry Storm, he put a lot of effort on this theme and it looks nicer than the other two themes he made, this one requiered more effort, that is why it is a premium theme.
